Changelog

Release notes and product updates for the Amplifi platform. New releases are published here as they become generally available. Entries are listed with the most recent first.

Amplifi follows semantic versioning (vMAJOR.MINOR.PATCH). Some customers run dedicated deployments that may receive individual changes on a separate schedule; the entries below reflect the general-availability product line.

v2.11.0 — October 22, 2026

Feature release: document extraction, knowledge-graph quality, security hardening.

Document extraction (new, API)

  • Extraction pipeline with versioned profile and schema registries, a document-type classifier and a built-in Prescription schema.
  • Workspace inbox that reads, classifies and routes incoming files, with resolve and re-classify actions; a failed suggestion records why it failed.
  • Review workflow: page annotations with value and label boxes, per-value review decisions, submit-and-lock, progress that counts only leaf values, and a record of whether a submitted correction is printed on the page.
  • Word-level boxes and vision-block OCR words stored on raw documents; one evidence unit per printed line.
  • Extraction is off by default and is switched on per deployment.
  • Canonical relationship ontology, scoped relationship types, an index on entity names and chunk provenance; graph retrieval no longer depends on model-generated Cypher.
  • Extraction output is capped and chunks are processed in parallel. One malformed model response no longer stops a run, and an empty relationship run no longer erases a saved graph.
  • Keyword search gains OR semantics, a GIN index and chunk position tracking; video search is called on the right service again.
  • Removed the unused LangStruct and Kuzu components.

Chat and voice

  • Text-to-speech post-processing runs off the event loop, and an optional fail-safe SSML gate is available (off by default).
  • /chat/upload accepts API clients and is scoped to the caller's organization; the file picker is back in the interactive API docs.
  • Graph responses and tool traces render correctly in the chat UI.

Reliability

  • Background workers reconnect and retry indefinitely after a message-broker restart.
  • Expired or invalid tokens are answered with 401.
  • Extraction and graph task timeouts are honoured.

Security and maintenance

  • Node.js runtimes pinned to 22.23.4 (web) and 24.22.1 (API image), which carry the October 2026 Node.js security release; npm's bundled tar, undici, brace-expansion, ip-address, http-cache-semantics and postcss-selector-parser patched.
  • Pillow 13 and docling 2.142 clear the remaining image-processing vulnerabilities; aiohttp, certifi, uv, Next.js and follow-redirects updated.
  • More than 350 dependency alerts resolved across the Python and JavaScript lock files; Partner Center CVE remediations (tar, brace-expansion, quinn-proto, aiohttp, cryptography, libssh, ip-address, fast-uri, js-yaml, nanoid, pip toolchain).

Platform

  • Backend moved to a uv workspace with one import root per service; the shared library is split into layered packages; agents run on Pydantic AI v2; groundwork for Temporal durable execution (not enabled in deployments).
  • Frontend lint toolchain on ESLint flat config; production security headers no longer break local development.

v2.10.4 — July 22, 2026

Security & maintenance release.

  • Security: removed an unused command-line utility (docker-ce-cli) from the FastAPI service image to clear a dependency vulnerability (CVE-2026-39822).

v2.10.3 — July 22, 2026

Maintenance release.

  • Minor documentation and release skill updates.

v2.10.2 — July 22, 2026

Maintenance release.

  • Security: updated the PDF-rendering library (WeasyPrint) to clear a dependency vulnerability.

v2.10.1 — July 22, 2026

Maintenance release.

  • Reliability fixes to the production release pipeline.

v2.10.0 — July 21, 2026

A major platform release focused on enterprise authentication, richer video search, and Azure Marketplace availability.

New features & improvements

  • Enterprise authentication — Microsoft sign-in (SSO) is now configurable directly from the UI via Azure Key Vault. Deployments that don't use an external identity provider can use database-password login with first-administrator onboarding.
  • Video search improvements — transcript timestamps now display in M:SS format and are aligned to absolute video time, alongside reliability fixes to the video ingestion pipeline.
  • Workspace search in the navigation bar, plus refinements to chat-app and agent editing and to user management.
  • Azure Marketplace readiness for one-click deployment.

Security & quality

  • Fixed a rate-limiter error on newer FastAPI versions.
  • Broad remediation of security vulnerabilities across backend and frontend services (OS packages, OpenSSL, and dependency updates).

v2.8.1 — June 9, 2026

Security patch.

  • Disabled the DSPy on-disk cache to address CVE-2025-69872.

v2.8.0 — June 8, 2026

  • Self-contained text-to-SQL engine, replacing the previous third-party dependency for more stable natural-language database querying, with chart output support.
  • Fixed a worker startup crash by making the optional model client optional.
  • Major security and dependency hardening pass, including Node.js 22, an updated document-processing toolchain, and Poetry 2.3.3 across all services.

v2.7.0 — June 1, 2026

  • Microsoft authentication (MSAL) sign-in support.
  • Fixed organization deletion.
  • Dependency and security updates.

v2.6.0 — May 29, 2026

  • Workspace names can now contain spaces (resolves an error on existing workspaces).
  • Safer rendering of knowledge-graph responses and a tightened Content Security Policy.
  • Upgraded MCP server transport for more reliable tool connections.
  • Security hardening, including Azure Marketplace bundle CVEs, a pydantic-ai SSRF fix, and an OpenSSL patch.

v2.5.0 — May 20, 2026

A large release centered on the knowledge-graph engine and agent capabilities.

  • Knowledge graph engine migrated to Memgraph, delivered through a dedicated graph service for faster, more scalable graph building and retrieval.
  • File Upload Agent API — create agents that accept uploaded files directly.
  • Agent Instructions Optimizer to help refine agent behavior.
  • MCP runtime improvements (Deno support, updated Node.js) for a broader range of tools.
  • Added ingestion architecture documentation for audio, document, and image pipelines.
  • Expanded automated test coverage and numerous security updates.

v2.1.3 — October 17, 2025

  • Enterprise licensing with a two-stage license-validation flow.
  • Cancellable ingestion for video content.
  • Visualization tool now supports all data-source types.
  • Security: license keys and secrets are no longer written to logs.

v2.1.0 — October 10, 2025

  • Video ingestion — ingest and search video content.
  • Smart parallel search with richer presentation of video results.
  • Improvements to the AWS (S3) connector and API pagination.

v2.0.0 — July 31, 2025

  • Native ingestion (Ingestion v2) with improved document handling, including high-resolution PDFs and PDF tables.
  • Chat app v2 experience.
  • Higher-fidelity embeddings and intellectual-property protection for on-premises deployments.

Subsequent 2.0.x updates added plain-text (.txt) file ingestion, OCR tuning, and stability fixes.

v1.3.0 — May 22, 2025

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) with QR-code setup.
  • Image and audio ingestion, including audio transcription.
  • Image and audio search & RAG.
  • Model selection for SQL queries and additional multilingual voice options.
